New York city has so many pizzerias, but Pizza at Zazzy’s tasted super delicious. They have tons of vegan and gluten free options on their menu which is rare to find.

Usually pizzerias do not have lot of seating, they had both outdoor and indoor seating available. This place was very clean and the seating arrangement was spacious and comfortable.

We ordered lots of things from their menu and most of the things tasted very good. We started with vegan mozzarella sticks that tasted so delicious to my surprise. I am not a huge fan of vegan cheese because of its texture but I could not tell that these sticks were vegan. The outer layer was breaded very well and the inner layer was soft and gooey. This was one of my favorites. We also got their Panzerotti that was made with fresh ricotta cheese filled inside a dough that looks like calzone. Last time I had Panzerotti when I was in Sicily and I haven’t found lot of restaurants that serve this here so I was very happy to find a place that carries it. I have to say it did not taste like the one from Italy but it tasted very good. I usually judge a pizzeria by their plain cheese slice and this one sure tasted very good. The pizza reminded me of Neopolitan pizza, thin naan bread like crust with juicy and tangy sauce and perfect layer of cheese. The garlic knots had hint of rosemary and olive oil and if you go here then you definitely need to try those as they were so good. For dessert we got Zeppoles that are fried pizza dough with chocolate and sprinkles and these were to die for.

The service was excellent from beginning to end. Every person was very nice, they are knowledgeable about their menu and are willing to accommodate special needs.
