Aloo Toasty or a Potato Sandwich is a simple sandwich with savory spicy potato filling. It is comfort food especially when you are craving for hot food during the winter months. I love to use the Amul Butter and Amul Cheese as it brings it one step closer to Bombay Sandwich. The sandwich chutney adds a good kick to this Toastie. The Aloo Stuffing is a basic stuffing that can be modified as per your taste. I also use the same Potato stuffing in Aloo Parathas.

Aloo Toastie | Potato Sandwich

Aloo Sandwich or Potato Toastie reminds me of a sandwich place that was right across my school in India. It reminds me of the Sandwich shop right outside my school in India . Those days they used Sandwich Maker with handle. They toasted the sandwich on the Indian Coal grill. The crunchy outer edges of bread and hot filling would taste absolutely delicious. When I made this Sandwich it tasted very close to what I had when I was growing up. Checkout the quick and easy recipe below.
