Rotli na Ladwa
f you were to ask me what was one thing that I ate more often when I was growing up then I have to say it was Rotli na Ladwa. These delicious treats are so healthy and best way to use leftover chapatis. They combination of jaggery and ghee with rotli is outstanding and mom always gave me few in my snack box and remaining during lunches when I decided to be fussy. It is toddler friendly and one of the first few things that is introduced to the little ones. Checkout the recipe that you can share with your loved ones
Ingredients
- 6-7 leftover roti
- 1/4 cup ghee
- 1/2 cup jaggery
Instructions
- Take left over or fresh chapatis, if using fresh make pieces using your hand
- If using leftover and chapati is dry then use a grinder to make a coarse mixture
- Add ghee and soft jaggery, if needed grate jaggery
- Mash everything together and form ladoos and add more ghee as needed
- Feed it to your toddler, carry it when traveling or store them for later use
