Roasted Split Gram and Chia Chikki

Roasted Split Gram and Chia Chikki

It's been exactly 1 year since my India trip. I spent last year enjoying Uttrayan festival with all of my cousins and nieces and nephews in Gujararat and it was so much fun. This was probably the best rooftop party I had attended. We heard music everywhere, so many delicacies made in each home and we spent quality time with each other flying kites. Chikkis are made in every house and it is taken to the rooftop to provide with energy boost while flying the kite. It is usually made with dried fruits or nuts. This year I learned to make Chikki for the first time from my mother in law and I could not believe it is super easy to make. I added a twist to it by adding Chia seeds and it turned out perfect.
