Kumato Caprese

Kumato Caprese

If you are looking for a quick and delicious appetizer idea for Thanksgiving then I got y’all covered. This comes together in 5 minutes and tastes so delicious. I have tried Caprese so many times but this was my first time trying with Kumato tomatoes and I have to tell you it tastes so delicious. The sweetness from Kumato tomatoes combines so well with the mozzarella cheese and the balsamic glaze brings it all together in one bite. I got all my ingredients from TraderJoes but it is available at most grocery stores. Kumato tomatoes are brown in color and are naturally sweet and slightly tart, they taste excellent in salads and sandwiches. I was very happy to know that they are not genetically modified like other fruits or vegetables with color.
