Crispy Aloo Chaat is an easy chaat recipe that you can enjoy during Navratri. There is no onion of garlic and it is extremely delicious. I always crave tangy and spicy food and this one will hit the spot. I can eat chaat any time of the day and if you are like me who craves something delicious then save this recipe.

Crispy Air Fried Aloo Chaat
Even though I never follow Chaitra Navratri, I grew up with so many friends who followed it. During those 9 days they would crave to eat something spicy and tangy and what can hit those taste buds better than a chaat. So presenting to you all Crispy Airfried Aloo Chaat. This lip smacking chaat will leave you craving for more. You don’t even need a reason to make this chaat if you are someone like me. The crunch from potatoes and the yogurt and chutneys in one bite tastes like heaven on earth.
Ingredients
- 2 large potatoes 2 cups diced
- 1 tsp amchoor powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- rock salt as needed
- 1 tsp roasted jeera powder
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tsp tamarind dates chutney
- 2 tsp cilantro chutney
- water for boiling
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 1 tablespoon pomegranate seeds
- 1 tsp chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Peel and boil potatoes in salted water
- Take them out after they are half cooked and shock them with cold water and dry them well
- Dice the potatoes
- Preheat the Air Fryer or Oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit
- Season them with red chili powder, amchoor powder, salt and black pepper powder
- Coat them well with oil
- Air Fry the potatoes in oven for 20 minutes or till the they are crispy
- Prep yogurt by whisking it and add roasted jeera powder and salt
- Lay crispy potatoes on a serving plate
- Top with prepped yogurt
- Top with cilantro chutney
- Top with tamarind dates chutney
- Sprinkle pomegranate seeds
- Garnish with cilantro
