Bharela Shaak no Masalo comes in handy when making stuffed veggies. Bharela shaak are my favorite. My mom made variety of them when I was growing up. To name a few, Bharela Bhinda, Bharela Ringda, Bharela Bateta and Bharela Marcha. Bharela Shaak which is also called Stuffed veggies or Bharwan Sabzi . Here are other names like Gujarati Ravaiya or Sambhariyu Shaak.

Bharela Shaak no Masalo
The masala for Bherela shaak can be easily made at home. You can prep and make it on Sunday night and enjoy Bharela Shaak during the week. I like to make some and store it in freezer for few months. The masala contains, sweet, tangy and spicy flavor. You just need to slit the veggies and then fill it up with this masala. Checkout quick and easy recipe below.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup peanuts can skip for allergies
- 3 cloves of garlic optional
- 1/4 tsp hing asafetida powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp cumin coriander powder
- 1 and 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp amchoor powder raw mango powder
- 1 and 1/2 tsp salt or as needed
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoon shredded coconut
- 1 tablespoon roasted gram flour use 1/4 cup thin sev
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 2 tsp oil
Instructions
- Grind the peanuts and garlic cloves together. If using thin sev grind it together
- Pour the mixture in a bowl
- Add red chili powder, salt, sugar, turmeric powder, hing powder, cumin coriander powder, garam masala, amchoor powder and sesame seeds
- Add fresh or dry coconut, roasted gram flour (if not using thin sev), chopped cilantro
- Add oil and mix everything well
- Stuff your favorite vegetables with this masala and cook them in oil
- You can store this in referigerator for uptown 7 days or you can store them in freezer for few months
