5 minute Beet Jeera Raita
One thing I love to eat during Summer months is Raita. If you are like me and love jeera or cumin with many things then you will love this Raita. The crunch from Beets and the smooth texture of yogurt topped with jeera tadka is just what you need in your life. My little one enjoyed this throughly and I am sure you will too
Ingredients
- 1 and 1/2 cup greek yogurt can use fat free
- Salt as needed
- 2 chopped green chilies optional
- 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
- 1/2 cup shredded beets keep it fresh
- 1 and 1/2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Whisk yogurt and add green chilies, roasted cumin powder and salt
- Shred fresh beets and add it to yogurt and add chopped cilantro and whisk it
- Heat oil and add cumin seeds till it sizzles
- Add it to the raita and sprinkle some chopped cilantro before serving
- Can refrigerate overnight but add tadka before serving
- Serve with paratha, Rice and much more…
