  • 1 tsp chopped cilantro
  • 2 tablespoon hot honey or regular honey
  • 10 piece of toasted bread or crostini to serve along with the dip

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degree Fahrenheit
  • Wash, Dry and chop the mushrooms and place them in a baking dish
  • Drizzle olive oil over the mushrooms
  • Lightly salt the mushrooms as the mushrooms will shrink in size and feta cheese is salty and sprinkle black pepper powder
  • Toss the mushrooms with salt, black pepper powder and olive oil
  • Once the oven is preheated, roast the mushrooms in the oven for 30 minuets or till they are brown
  • While the mushrooms are being roasted, make the whipped feta dip
  • In a food processor whip together crumbled feta cheese along greek yogurt, black pepper powder, chili flakes, lime juice and olive oil.
  • Do not add salt to the dip as the feta cheese is usually salty.
  • Whip it into a smooth consistency and use a strainer if needed
  • On a plate, layer the feta dip and then top it off with roasted mushrooms
  • Drizzle hot honey and garnish with chopped cilantro
  • Serve it along with toasted bread as an appetizer
