Dhokla Flatbread | Dhokla Toast

Often times Flatbread is made wit All purpose flour that may be the best for your stomach. Here is a twist to classic Flatbread and we are using Dhokla Batter instead. They turn out perfect for snacking and can be made in  15 minutes. You are going to love how these turn out. Checkout the recipe below.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup Dhokla batter
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 garlic clove chopped
  • 1-2 green chilies chopped
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 3-4 curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoon chili cilantro chutney
  • 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup

Instructions
 

  • In ready made Dhokla or Idli batter, add green chilies and chopped garlic and whisk it
  • In a Toastie Sandwich maker, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Add 1/4 tsp cumin seeds, 1/4 tsp mustard seeds and let it sizzle
  • Now add the 2 curry leaves chopped into pieces
  • Sprinkle 2 pinches of Red chili powder
  • Drop 1 cup Dhokla Batter into the tastie maker
  • Sprinkle more red chili powder and pour little more oil
  • Cover and cook the Dhokla Batter for 15 minutes (can cook for longer to make them super crispy)
  • The Dhokla Batter will turn into a Flatbread
  • Cut the Flatbread into pieces
  • Sprinkle with chopped cilantro and serve with chutney or ketchup
