My husband is a huge fan of Masala Pav and when we started dating he told me this is one dish I will need to perfect to make him happy. My husband when growing up always visited this one restaurant for Masala Pav in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. He even took me to this restaurant to try and understand the flavors of the Masala Pav so I can reciprocate the same in my kitchen. The restaurant unfortunately closed down but his aunt who lived close to the restaurant learned how to make it. As soon as I discovered that, I had to learn the recipe. Over the years I made little tweaks to bring back the same taste and now I have perfected this recipe and here I am sharing this recipe with all of you. This turns out exactly like the restaurant. The chutney cooked with veggies tastes so delicious with the Pav and makes my husband nostalgic every time I make it. Pair it with Thums up and tell me if it reminds you of Mumbai.
