Watermelon Nimbu Pani

Nimbu Pani is a staple drink of India. There are Nimbu Pani stalls all over the streets of India. The hot weather combined with humidity makes everyone loose lots of electrolytes. The lemon, sugar, salt and water combined together is a perfect drink to regain those electrolytes back. This is one drink that is also served in every household as it requires basic ingredients and can be ready in no time.
The New York weather right now is reminding me of India and all I could think of is a refreshing drink to cool us. I gave a twist to the original Nimbu Pani recipe by adding the watermelon juice to it and it turns out so good. The drink is refreshing and I promise you will love the fusion. It would also be a perfect drink to serve along with your grilled food or chaats.
