Heat oil or ghee in a deep pan on medium heat, add chana dal, mustard seeds, raw cashews, green chilies, chopped ginger, chopped onions and curry leaves and mix it well and let everything cook for few minutes. Turn off the heat
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
In a bowl mix the oatmeal, water, add salt sugar, lime juice and add the tadka, mix it well and pour the mixture into ramekins
Bake at 375 degree Fahrenheit for 30 minutes in an oven
Once the water is absorbed and oats are completely cooked, remove it from oven
Sprinkle cilantro and thin sev on the Upma and serve hot
