Stir Fry Idlis | Indo Chinese Idli
My son always wants something different in his lunchbox. He is fond of Asian food so the other day when I had leftover Idlis, I decided to give it an Asian twist and he was in love. The lunchbox came back empty and I knew I had to share this recipe with you all. Checkout this quick and easy recipe below that I am sure you will love .

- 2 cups leftover mini idilis or whole Idli cut into pieces
- Salt as needed
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil or any other oil
- 1/2 cup chopped broccoli
- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1 tsp sriracha optional
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup diced scallions optional
Heat oil in a wok or a wide pan
Add the sesame seeds and let it sizzle
Add the diced veggies and salt and let the veggies cook till it softens a little
Add the soy sauce and vinegar and mix it well
Add the leftover Idlis
In a bowl mix corn flour or corn starch with water till it completely dissolved and add it to the Idlis
Toss it all together till uniform mixture and water is absorbed
Garnish with chopped scallions and pack it in lunch box
